Musiq Soulchild called upon fellow singers Carl Thomas and Tank to perform a rendition of his hit “B.U.D.D.Y”. The song was popularized back in 2007, and was featured on his fourth studio album Luvanmusiq. The trio belted out the hit at a show that Musiq was headlining in L.A at R&B Live Hollywood, and the three of them together made for a unique, one-of-a-kind performance. Check out the footage!

Billboard reports Musiq has a book "in its early, embryonic development stage," although he hopes to publish it "by summer -- definitely before the fall." And the subject comes from some of his favorite topics to sing and write about.

"It's going to be about love and relationships, and love and music," Musiq explains. "Basically it's just a man with an opinion ranting about love and relationships and how my music is affected by them and how my music impacts other people's relationships.
